Green energy threat? Coal mine workers fear job losses in Germany as renewable energy thrives

Green sources of energy showed their potential in Germany this week. Wind & solar power generated more than 70% of the country’s electrical needs, thanks to strong winds and plenty of sunshine.

But while the industry continues to develop there are fears it could cause big problems too.
